Scrap Happy!

OhEmGee. I have been so busy. First was an awful cold that put me out of commission for a few days. Then, we've been searching for a new home since our lease is up soon! We found a great new place and we move in 3 weeks! That means, we have 3 weeks to pack and find movers! Ack! So much work to do! BUT, it's going to great to be moved before our big vacation to Disneyland at the end of June. I've only been waiting to move out of this apartment since we moved in 3 years ago! The second floor life sucks in an apartment.

I entered the Queen of Scrap Contest at Scrap Matters. I have 8 layouts done. I am quite pleased with that. That's one for everyday this month. I was really hoping to reach my goal of 60. We will see. My scrapping mojo has been so sporadic lately. Ugh. Here's a few of my favorites that I've scrapped. I've got the images linked so, feel free to send me some love!

I've scrapped quite a few pages with The Design Girl's Color Your World Collection and the Color Your World Basics. I still need to do two more colors and then I have big plans for a page with all the different colors. Here's a few of my faves so far...

I had so much fun with Sexy Chick. I used Jennifer Barrette and Meg Mullens' Press Play and Press Play Add-On. I also used Kjersti's Templatez (April FA) by NeeNee. I had a little too much fun with the brightness/contrast on the photo of me. I just lurve it!

Tuesday Night TV Line-Up

My TV watching habits are quite ridiculous. I am going to have to quit my job just to keep caught up on all my TV shows! Fortunately we do have a DVR but, it only records two things at a time. So, thank goodness for OnDemand because I have 3 things on at 10pm tonight!

First up, Deadliest Catch. Tonight is the Season 6 premiere. It's on at 9pm on the Discovery Channel. (But, it's on at 6pm my time because we watch the HD Channel)

Deadliest Catch is probably my favorite TV show. I feel like I've been waiting for forever for this show to start back up again! Most of the boats and crew are from here in Seattle, WA. This season is sure to be an emotional one with the loss of Captain Phil Harris.

Next is American Idol. It's on at 8pm on Fox. Tonight we watch the Top 9 perform again.


I must say I haven't been all that pleased with this season. Nonetheless, I started watching it and I will finish watching it out of curiosity. I am rooting for my girl, Crystal Bowersox. I think she's the best by far. I hope America doesn't screw it up. ;)

And then we have, Glee. It's on at 9:30pm tonight on Fox after American Idol.

Now, I've never watched Glee but, I keep hearing amazing things about it. So, I set it up to record tonight. I can't wait to watch it and see what all the hype is about. I love a good laugh so, I am super excited to watch this tonight!

After that, V. It's on tonight at 10pm on ABC.

V is definitely not my favorite show. Greg likes this show and I watch it with him. It's a bit slow and just kind of boring to me. I guess I'm not a Sci-Fi fan and in all honesty, Anna freaks me out.

Lastly, I watch Parenthood. It's on tonight at 10pm on NBC. This one I save for OnDemand.

I really like this show. It's mildly funny and I enjoy it. It's relatable and makes me feel good after watching it. Although, I do feel bad for Adam. His family really dumps on him. I wonder how that would really work in real life, especially since he's got enough problems of his own.

Well, that's my Tuesday night line-up. Lots to watch and I can't wait!

Just Trying to Catch Up!

It's been a week since I got the dreaded stomach flu. It was awful. I was out of commission for about 4 days. Alyssa got it 2 days after I did, and Greg is fighting yet another case of Cellulitis. (At least I got him to to go to the doctor early on this time!) The last week has been absolutely horrible here. My house is a wreck, and I am totally behind on everything. In the midst of it all, I still found time to scrap. Go me!

I used a cute little kit by Jady Day Studio and Suzy Q Scraps. It's called Ouchies and Ickies and you can find it at Scrap Orchard. I also used a fantastic template by Studio NeeNee. I used her Papercropz Vol. 5 You can find those at Scrapbook Graphics. If you've never used one of her templates before, you MUST give them a try. They are AMAZING! Anyways, here's my LO... it tells all about our not so happy Easter.



And in other events... what did you think of American Idol this week? I am SO ready for Tim Urban to go. He annoys me. Tell me what you think!!!
